Vignettes

Taking a snapshot of something you like is one way of keeping memories of your travels or life.

In art we call a snapshot a vignette, something I call a mini as well.

The definition of a vignette ito art is as follows: a small illustration or portrait photograph which fades into its background without a definite border.

Using small detail brushes, which I believe are used for fingernail artwork, one can paint these small pieces.

They great for doing smaller studies for larger pieces of work.
